Compassion

compassion

“Compassion is at the heart
of every little thing we do.
It is the dearest
quality we possess,
yet all too often
it is cast aside with
consequence too tragic to speak of.
To lose our compassion we lose
what it is to be human.”

We need help with this immediate need! Our car insurance lapsed a few months ago. And we need car insurance by tomorrow to avoid Drivers license suspension.

The last couple of days, has been spent getting quotes from various insurance companies because it doesn’t look like we can afford what Geico is asking for reinstatement after lapsing. Almost $250.

PLEASE SEE OUR NEEDS PAGE ( left) for a detailed list of what the needs still are.

General Direct was the most affordable and they have an office near us. We have the majority of the down payment in pay pal. And another GOFundme fundraising check in route to us but that is not expected until Wednesday or as late as Friday as the 4th falls on Thursday. Again though, we are a day late and a few dollar short at this moment!

My husband’s drivers license suspension is pending ( because of the lapse in insurance) and according to notice, we must provide valid car insurance by 7/2/2013 to avoid suspension. IF his drivers license is suspended, we will have to pay another ( up to $500 ) to get them reinstated.

$50.00 or so, would resolve this particular issue for us TODAY.

If you’d like and are able. you can wire to us via Western Union. Our personal contact info is on our donation page. Then you can email me the tracking info. @ allbuthomeless@gmail.com.

OR donate via PayPal. From paypal, we can load to our debit card. And use the debit card to secure the insurance tomorrow morning.

As I have said many times before, all donations ( large or small) ADD up and are making a HUGE difference for us. Still we have a ways to go. 😦

We GREATLY appreciate all the support, and continued support ( monetary and otherwise) .

God Bless You ALL and have a wonderful Sunday.

Flywheel

flywheel

So now I am a movie critic. Smiles

We don’t have cable ( an expense we can’t afford but I actually quit paying for the service before it got this bad) and have absolutely no tv reception from any source, As a result we read and watch alot of movies (mostly from the library) which doesn’t have a very big selection.

Flywheel was one of those movies we chose because of its unfamiliar title. So many, we’ve seen before.

It is a low BUDGET film, and not the BEST acting, perhaps even over simplifed but the message is PROFOUND! I recommend to anyone who is struggling with their spiritual stability.

It is about a used car dealer who finds redemption after years of shady business practices.

I related to it because property management ( the career, we left) is a lot like selling used cars. 😦

But most people can relate in one way or another, especially when our beliefs don’t quite jive with real life work-related goals/ obligations.

If you can get a hold of it. Please watch!

Thanks!

Friday Update, $1,145.00 Raised to Date

everystage

That’s over 36 percent of our overall $3,000.00 fundraising goal! Unbelievable!

In the last 36 hours alone, we’ve had three more donations come thru for us.

1) $240 ( an anonymous donor ) 2) $100 ( Louella ) 3) $50 (Amanda W.)

Because of this, we were able to pay the balance of June’s mortgage payment, have a few more of those day-to-day needs met and EVEN have some in ‘reserve’ to apply to the next item on our updated needs list.

Our HEARTFELT Thanks to each of you.

I am just slightly overwhelmed by ALL the generosity. 🙂

It’s just so hard to believe that 2.5 months ago, we couldn’t even get our day-to-day needs met, and I am not exaggerating.

Today, things are so much better and we have high hopes that things will continue on in this vein.

I can’t stress this effectively or enough and I don’t want to dwell on it BUT 2.5 months ago, we were ALL but paralyzed in what we were able to do under our power. Yes, the resources ( opportunitie) were out there but IF you can’t get to them, what does it matter? That has all started to change and doors of opportunity are beginning to open up to us again AND we are just SO very grateful.

WE COULDN’T have done it without the help we found here and YES we still need help BUT every single solitary contribution ( large or small ) makes a HUGE difference for us.

Your donations are still needed and greatly appreciated.

God Bless You ALL!

Have an AWESOME weekend!
